We’re based in Gippsland Victoria and have been in the insurance industry for in excess of 20 years. Today we have access to approximately 100 insurers, many who specialise in meeting the needs of specific industries and risk types. We help you to make the best risk decisions, from both an insurance purchase and risk management perspective.

Steven Bigham drives GippsInsure’s overall strategic vision whilst overseeing all facets of the operation. His insurance career started well over 20 years ago in Wales working predominantly in personal insurance. In 2005, Steven married a Gippsland dairy farmers daughter and returned to Australia where he continued to build on his career achievements. Working with one of the largest international Australian owned companies, Steven’s career continued to develop to the point where he was appointed as a highly respected Senior Underwriter working with some of the brightest minds in insurance at some of the biggest organisations in the country.
Ten years later, with a wealth of experience gained from a number of key underwriting roles, Steven has gained intrinsic knowledge of insurance products, business risks and importantly the insurance fine print, all of which is supported by his strong self motivation to continue to grow both personally and professionally.
In his previous guise as a Senior Underwriter, Steven has armed himself with practical behind the scenes knowledge of major insurer operations and is well positioned to deal with all aspects of Insurance and associated Risk Management.
Whether translating insurance coverage, identifying possible gaps in cover or implementing strategies to eliminate unexpected costs (claims excess, out of pocket expenses, loss of work and reputational risks), Steven is best placed at providing working solutions to all your Insurance and Risk management needs, this allows you to focus on your main priority – running your business.
